In order to specify a solid background color for a frame, regardless of the frames contents, the animation must have a global palette. In addition, if all frames use the same palette, this reduces the size of the animation. Gif Animator provides two ways of creating a global palette, either by loading an existing previously created palette, or generating a palette based on the colors used by the frames in the animation.
To load an external palette to use as the global palette:
The animation reel displayed to the right of the palette preview allows you to see how the frames of your animation look when the proposed global palette is applied to them. Double click an image within the preview reel to open it in a popup window.
