Copy flags allow you to control the behaviour of file copies, from only processing archive file, to performing comparisons.
Ignore Hidden Files | By default, hidden files are included in copy operations. Set this flag to exclude hidden files. |
Ignore Read Only Files | By default, read only files are included in copy operations. Set this flag to exclude hidden files. |
Ignore System Files | By default, system files are included in copy operations. Set this flag to exclude hidden files. |
Only copy files that have the archive flag set | If this flag is set, only flags flagged as "ready to archive" will be copied. |
Clear the archive flag after copy | If this flag is set, the "ready to archive" flag will be cleared from source files after successfully copying them |
Copy empty folders | Set this flag to copy empty folders |
Always overwrite destination files | By default, CopyTools checks to see if the destination file does not exist or is older then the source before copying. Setting this flag causes the destination file to be overwritten regardless of its state. |
Move deleted files to the Recycle Bin | If this flag is set, any files deleted as a result of a copy or move are sent to the Recycle Bin rather than deleted outright |
Do not copy security attributes | Prevents the copying of NTFS security permissions |
Run this profile automatically when the destination device is added | By setting this flag, the profile will automatically trigger execution if the destination device is attached. For example, if you back up to an external hard disk, you can have the profile run whenever the disk is plugged in. |
Use system temp path for temporary files | Specifies that compression based profiles will use the system temp path for temporary files rather than the destination path |
