Programs can be run both before and after a profile has executed.

Running a custom program before a profile has started

  1. Activate the Programs tab
  2. In the Filename field in the Before running profile group, enter the name of the program to run and any command line arguments you wish to specify. You can also use tokens in this field.

Running a custom program before a profile has completed

  1. Activate the Programs tab
  2. In the Filename field in the After running profile group, enter the name of the program to run and any command line arguments you wish to specify. You can also use tokens in this field.
  3. To have CopyTools pause until the program has exited, check the Wait until program has completed option.

Waiting until a custom program has completed

By default, CopyTools will start the selected profile, then continuing running the current profile or any queued profiles. To instruct CopyTools to pause until the program has exited, check the Wait until program has completed option.

Hiding the window of a custom program

By default, spawned programs will display a user interface. You can instruct CopyTools to attempt to hide the user interface by checking the xoption. Not all programs may support this option.

Only running a custom program if the profile completed successfully

To only have the custom program run if the profile itself completed successfully, check the Run only when the profile completes successfully option.
