Gif Animator is comprised of a number of different tools. The main GUI client is always installed, but depending on your installation choices, the other tools are optional and may not be present on your system.
| GUI Client | The main Gif Animator client. This component allows you to create and edit GIF animations, and provides a number of editing and optimization tools. |
| Command Line Client | A console based command line tool for use in batch scenarios. This tool can be used to easily generate animations, extract frames from animations and more. |
| GifInfo | This tool decodes the information in a GIF file and displays the pertinent attributes. |
| Effect Builder | A GUI tool for creating and testing image effects. |
