Setting the length of time a frame is displayed

Each frame has a duration that you can set to determine how long the frame is displayed before the next is shown.

To set the duration of one or more frames

1. Select one or more frames from the animation reel, and click the Frame tab
2. Enter a value into the Duration field to set the length of time the selected frames will be displayed

Although Gif Animator allows you to enter durations in milliseconds (1/1000), the GIF specification only supports hundredths (1/100) of a second. When the animation is saved, the durations will be automatically converted.

This setting can be applied to multiple frames at once.
