The template editor, accessed when either adding or editing a template, provides the ability to edit core template properties with a live preview.
| Name | The template name. Template names must be unique. |
| Default Extension | The default extension. This is used to suggest a filename when running the template. |
| Content | The template content. |
In the left content pane, enter the template body. You can use Liquid tags and filters to format values. In addition to the stock Liquid filters, Cyotek Color Palette Editor also provides a number of additional filters to help with template creation.
When making changes to the left pane, the right pane will automatically update with a live preview showing the template execution, or any error messages if the template is invalid.
To disable the live preview, collapse the panel by clicking the thumb between the two panels.
