To copy a colour to the clipboard

Select the swatch colour to copy
From the Edit menu, click Copy , or press Control+C

Tip

The first defined colour format will be used to construct the value to copy

Copying a colour using a custom format

Select the swatch colour to copy
From the Edit menu, click Copy Colour , then choose a format from the menu displayed

Tip

Some palette displays also offer a context menu containing a Copy Colour command.
