Automatically copying colours

Options for configuring how colours are copied to the Windows Clipboard can be found on the Copy tab in the Options dialogue.

Automatically copying colours

To have Colour Palette Editor automatically copy the current colour each time the selection is changed

Open the Options dialogue box and select the Copy category
In the Automatic Clipboard Copy group, check the Auto-copy on palette select option

Note

Using this option will silently overwrite any data currently on the clipboard.

Tip

The first defined colour format will be used to construct the value to copy
