Creating an empty palette

To create a new empty palette

  • From the File menu, choose New then Blank Palette Blank Palette, or press Control+N

Creating a custom palette

To create a new custom palette

  • From the File menu, choose New then Palette New, or press Control+Shift+N
  • From the New Palette dialogue, enter the number of colours in the new palette
  • Optionally, select the default colour of all entries in the palette
  • Click OK to create the new palette

Tip

If the current palette has changed, you will be prompted to save it, discard changes, or cancel the creation of the new palette.
