Defining custom fields

Custom fields allow you to associate custom values with each slice in a project. These values can then be combined with templates to create additional export files when exporting a project.

Viewing existing fields

• From the Project menu, choose Custom Fields or press Control+5

Adding a new custom field

• From the Custom Fields view click Add
• Enter the name of the new custom field in the Name field. Field names must be unique.
• Specify the type of the custom field via the Type list
• Click OK to add the new field

Editing an existing custom field

• From the Custom Fields view select the field you wish to edit and click Edit
• Enter the name of the custom field in the Name field. Field names must be unique.
• Specify the type of the custom field via the Type list
• Click OK to update the field

Removing a custom field

• From the Custom Fields view, select the field you wish to delete and click Remove
• When prompted, answer Yes to delete the field.

Deleting a custom field will also remove any custom field values associated with slices
