As well as the GUI client, Spriter also includes a command line tool for exporting data from existing project files. The tool, sprycmd.exe, is located in the Spriter application folder.

Parameters

OptionDescription
projectSpecifies the source Spriter project. Can also be specified via the /PROJECT switch.
/OUTPUT:[filename]Generates sprite sheet output. If the /OUTPUT flag is omitted, the image export option of the source project is used. If the filename attribute is not specified, the image export filename of the source project is used.
/-OUTPUTPrevents sprite sheet output from being generated, regardless of project settings.
/F:formatOverrides a projects output image format. Valid formats are: BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, TIF. Default is as defined by the source project.
/CSS:[filename]Generates CSS output. If the /CSS flag is omitted, the CSS export option of the source project is used. If the filename attribute is not specified, the CSS export filename of the source project is used.
/-CSSPrevents CSS output from being generated, regardless of project settings.
/HTML:[filename]Generates HTML output. If the /HTML flag is omitted, the HTML export option of the source project is used. If the filename attribute is not specified, the HTML export filename of the source project is used.
/-HTMLPrevents HTML output from being generated, regardless of project settings.
/SPRITEGenerates sprite output. If the /SPRITE flag is omitted, the sprite export option of the source project is used.

/SSaves the source project after a successful export
/NORESULTSCan only be used with the /S flag. When set, it forces the last export result information to be excluded from the source project. Do not use this option if you use CSS merge functionality.
/H or /?Display this message.
/LOG <file>Writes output to a log file. If <file> is not specified, a default name will be used
/LOGAPPENDIf set and the log file already exists, new data will be appended to the file, otherwise the log is recreated
/QUIETSuppresses most standard output
/PAUSEPrompts the user to press a key before the program is exited
/NOLOGODo not display the startup banner and copyright message.
/VERSIONDisplay version information only.
/STATISTICSDisplay execution statistics.
/NOCRASHREPORTDisable automatic crash logging and solution checking.
