Configuring watch folders

Watched folders allow you to link a Spriter project to one or more folders. Any images found in these folders will be automatically added to the project.

Watched folders allow you to automatically add and remove images from a Spriter project just by copying the images into the folder. Make a change to an image in a watched folder and the changes will appear straight away. Each time the project is opened, watched folders will be scanned and any new images will be added to the project.

Adding a watch folder

1. From the Project menu, activate the Folders view
2. Click the Add button to select a folder to watch

Removing a watch folder

1. From the Project menu, activate the Folders view
2. Select the folder you no longer wish to watch and click the Remove button
3. You will prompted if you also wish to remove any files in the project from that folder, answer Yes to remove them, or No to leave them as part of the project
