Sitemap options

Options for configuring how the sitemap is displayed can be found in the Appearance category within the Options dialogue.

Displaying folder paths

To display the local folder path of downloaded content in the sitemap

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Appearance category
2. In the Sitemap Display group, check the Show folder paths option

Displaying page names

To display the local file name of downloaded resources in the sitemap

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Appearance category
2. In the Sitemap Display group, check the Show page names option

Displaying page titles

To display the titles of documents in the sitemap

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Appearance category
2. In the Sitemap Display group, check the Show page titles option

Displaying page locations

To display the source URL for a document in the sitemap

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Appearance category
2. In the Sitemap Display group, check the Show page locations option

Displaying shell icons

WebCopy can automatically query each document type and show the appropriate system icon if available

To display shell icons

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Appearance category
2. In the Sitemap Display group, check the Use shell icons option

Setting the colour for new documents

To customise the colour used to highlight new and changed documents

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Appearance category
2. In the Sitemap Display group, click the button next to the New and changed item color label and choose a colour

Setting the colour for missing documents

To customise the colour used to highlight documents found in a previous crawl, but not detected in a later scan

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Appearance category
2. In the Sitemap Display group, click the button next to the Missing item color label and choose a colour

Configuring maximum children

By default, WebCopy will limit the number of child nodes displayed in the sitemap tree. To adjust this limit

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Appearance category
2. In the Sitemap Display group, enter a new limit in the the Maximum child field
