WebView2 Options

Setting the user data folder

WebView2 uses a custom folder per application for storing user data.

To configure the location of the user data folder

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Embedded Web Browser category
2. In the Microsoft WebView2 Settings group, click the Browse button for the User data folder option and choose a path.

Automatically clearing browsing data

To automatically clear browsing data when WebCopy has finished processing using WebView2:

1. Open the Options dialogue box and select the Embedded Web Browser category
2. In the Microsoft WebView2 Settings group, check the Automatically clear user data option.
